ABC Renews ‘Motive,’ ’24: Live Another Day’ to Film in London And More!

“Unforgettable” renewed for a third season.


Freshman crime-drama “Motive” will be for a second season next summer.

“24: Live Another Day” set is boarding a plane to London. The show will be filmed in London. [EW]

“Two and a Half Man” ups Amber Tamblyn to a series regular after one episode. [EW]

NBC cancels “Camp” after one season. [TVLine]

CBS Summer Schedule Revealed: ‘Big Brother’ Debuts Early, ‘Under The Dome’ & ‘Unforgettable’ Premiere Dates Announced

Cbs unveiled its summer schedule today at the Television Critics Association winter press tour.

The highly anticipated drama “Under the Dome,” premiere date and the resurrected series “Unforgettable” season two premiere date have been announced.

“Under the Dome,” a 13-episode, drama series based on Stephen King’s best-seller will debut on Monday, June 24, at 10/9c. “Under the Dome” follows a small town that is inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by a transparent dome, and subsequently subject to post-apocalyptic conditions, while searching for answers to what this barrier is, where it came from and if and when it will go away.

Summer’s guilty pleasure, “Big Brother” season 15 will be expanded this year. The series will launch two weeks earlier than its usual time on Wednesday, June 26, at 9/8c pm. BB15 will air Tuesdays at 9/8c beginning July 2, live eviction airs Wednesdays at 9/8c beginning July 3, and Sundays at 8/7c.

Meanwhile, Poppy Montgomery’s “Unforgettable” will return for its second season on Sunday, July 28, at 9 pm.

Dylan Walsh Joins ‘Revenge’ And More Casting News

Dylan Walsh is heading to “Revenge.”

The “Nip/Tuck” alum has booked a multi-episode arc on the drama series.

Walsh who recently starred on CBS “Unforgettable” as Al Burns will play Jason Prosser, Conrad Grayson’s rival hedge fund manager.

“Revenge” airs Sundays at 9/8c on ABC.

In other casting news…

“Go On” has promoted the Cat lady. Sarah Baker, who plays Sonia on the comedy series has been promoted to a series regular. [Deadline]

Billy Dee Williams (“Star Wars”) has been tapped to play himself on “Modern Family.” Additionally, Nathan Lane, who currently recurs on “The Good Wife” will reprise his role as Pepper, Cam and Mitch’s friend on the ABC comedy series. [EW]

Kyle MacLachlan (“Desperate Housewives”) will appear on “The Good Wife” in a multi-episode arc. Details surrounding his character are scare, but the “Sex and the City” alum will appear opposite Alan Cumming, who plays Eli Gold. [EW]

Brandon T. Jackson has booked a role on “Beverly Hills Cop.” Jackson will play Axel Foley’s (Eddie Murphy) son Aaron, in the CBS pilot. [THR]

Chad Michael Collins who recently starred on “Last Resort” has been booked to play Dr. Whale’s brother Gerhardt. Collins will appear in the season’s 12th episode. [TVLine]

‘The Newsroom’ Casts ‘United States of Tara’ Alums

Grace Gummer will recur in “The Newsroom‘s” second season as a reporter covering the Mitt Romney campaign. [THR]

Dean Winters will reprise his role on “30 Rock” as Liz’s ex Dennis Duffy on the series’ final episode. [Vulture]

Jeanine Mason Season 5 winner of “So You Think You Can Dance,” has been cast to recur on “Bunheads.” The dance champion will recur on the series as Paradise newcomer. She joins the series with Niko Pepaj as close, well-traveled, smart, artistic siblings. [THR ]

Ty Olsson Heads to ‘Supernatural’ and More Casting News

Ty Olsson is set to join CW’s drama, “Supernatural.” TVLine reports  The “Men in Trees” vet will recur in “Supernatural” which is set to premiere Oct. 3, as Benny, a dark and dangerous vampire who helps Dean escape from purgatory.

In other casting news…

‘Unforgettable,’ CBS’ un-cancelled crime drama, has bumped down three of its series regulars. According to TVLine, Michael Gaston, Daya Vaidya, and Kevin Rankin -Mike, Nina, and Roe- are no longer series regulars. However, Dylan Walsh, Jane Curtin, and Poppy Montgomery are full cast members.

‘Dexter’ Season 7: Watch the First Two Minutes of the Premiere [Video].

EW.com reports, Santiago Cabrera is joining the upcoming season of ‘Dexter.’ The “Heroes” vet will portray Ethan Price in some episodes. Price is described as a “charming investigative writer of true crime books about famous murder cases.”

Paget Brewster will guest-star in a special two-hour season premiere of “Law & Order: SVU.” Brewster who recently starred on CBS’ “Criminal Minds” will guest-star as the head of the DA’s Public Integrity Unit.  Brewster’s character will have the task of handling the case against Captain Cragen.

‘Unforgettable’ Will Return to CBS

[Update] Carrie Wells and co., will return to Cbs next summer for a second season. The series was picked up for a season of 13 episodes.

“Unforgettable” is not so forgettable after all.

According to Huffpost, the cancelled series could return for a 13- episode next summer.

The show stars Poppy Montgomery as Carrie Wells, a police detective with hyperthymesia, a condition that allows Wells to visually remember everything.

The series was cancelled after one season. CBS is in talks of reviving the crime drama for a 13-episode summer run.
