Fall TV: The CW Premiere Week to Begin in October

The CW is rolling out its Fall schedule starting Oct. 7.

New series “The Tomorrow People” debuts Wed., Oct 9. The network’s mid-season premiere includes: “America’s Next Top Model: Guys and Girls,” “The 100,” “Star-Crossed” and “Nikita.”

‘The Carrie Diaries’ Premiere Date Revealed

The Carrie Diaries Premiere Date Announced

The CW’s “Sex and the City” prequel “The Carrie Diaries” midseason premiere date has been announced.

The new series which stars AnnaSophia Robb as Carrie Bradshaw will debut on Monday, January 14 at 8/7c. The series will be aired during “90210” air time; moving “90120” to 9/8c.

“The Carrie Diaries” which is set in 1984, follows 16-year-old Carrie Bradshaw as she adjusts to life after the death of her mother. Her father, Tom (Matt Letscher) is overwhelmed caring for Carrie and Dorritt, Carrie’s rebellious sister. Tom gets Carrie an internship at a law firm in Manhattan, hence Carrie’s life begins.

Mike Colter Joins The Following

Mike Colter has joined Fox’s “The Following”

According to TVLine, “Ringer” alum will star as FBI agent Nick Donovan, who is brought in to supervise Joe Carroll’s (played by James Purefoy) case and Agent Hardy.

Also recurring on the thriller series is Warren Kole, TVLine reports. Kole, who starred on USA’s “Common Law” as Wes has been cast in “The Following.”

Kole will play a loyal servant of Joe Carroll, named Roderick.

‘The Following’ will premiere Mon., Jan. 21 at 9/8c p.m.

Nancy Lee Grahn (“The General Hospital’) will guest star as a rich divorcee, Samantha Voss on “Castle.” [TVLine]

“Army Wives'” Sterling K. Brown has been cast on “Person Of Interest. Brown will play a narcotics detective Cal Beecher in a recurring role. [Deadline]

Kyle Harris has been tapped to play a college freshman, who dates Mouse, Carrie’s friend in a recurring role in “The Carrie Diaries.”  [THR]
