Fall TV: NBC Sets Premiere Dates For ‘Blacklist,’ ‘Voice’ and More

The Peacock network revealed its 2014 all lineup earlier today.

The second season premiere of NBC’s “The Blacklist” debuts Mon., Set 22 following the season premiere of “The Voice.” “The Voice” later moves to its regular time slot on Tues., Oct 14.

Meanwhile, new series “Constantine” doesn’t bow out until October 24, following “Grimm” season debut.

NBC Renews ‘The Blacklist’ For Season 2

NBC orders a second season of “The Blacklist,” starring James Spader as Red Reddington.

“The Blacklist” will finish up its first run early next year. A second season of 22-episode of the drama series has been ordered , the Peacock network announced Tuesday.

“The success of “The Blacklist” demonstrates that inspired storytelling is alive and well in broadcast television, and I’m impressed on a daily basis by this creative team’s imagination and the extent to which they will go to capture this grand vision on film,” NBC Entertainment chair Robert Greenblatt said in a statement. “With gratitude to both our partners at Sony Pictures Television and our NBC development executives who took a great script and shepherded it into a great series, I hope that Red Reddington never runs out of names to bring down on his list!”

The series also stars Megan Boone, Diego Klattenhoff, Harry Lennix, Ryan Eggold and Parminder Nagra.

The series returns Mon., January, 13  with three back-to-back episodes on NBC.

‘Blacklist’: Receives Full Season Pick Up

The Blacklist” starring James Spader has been picked up for a full season, NBC announced Friday.

The series follows Red (Lames Spader), a wanted FBI criminal, who surrenders himself to the FBI headquarters, but will only communicate with FBI Profiler Agent Elizabeth Keen.

“The many layers of Red Reddington and his mysterious reasons for getting into bed with the FBI seem to be fascinating to fans of this show,” says NBC Entertainment boss Jennifer Salke. “With great talent like James Spader and Megan Boone on board, as well our stellar executive producers and the whole cast and crew, we believe this outstanding series will continue to make NBC a big destination on Monday nights.”

“The Voice’ returns with the original coaches: Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Cee-Lo Green and Blake Shelton on September 23, followed by the series debut of NBC new series “The Blacklist,” which stars James Spader.
