CBS Cancels ‘Partners’

Partners Cancelled

“Partners” has been cancelled.

The CBS freshman comedy series has been cancelled after six episodes. The comedy series starred Michael Urie, David Krumholtz, Sophia Bush and Brandon Routh.

“Partners” debuted to 6.6 million viewers with a 2.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic. According to CBS, “Partners” will be replaced by a rerun of “Two and a Half Men.”

Kevin Sussman Becomes A Series Regular on ‘Big Bang Theory’ And More Casting News

 

The Big Bang Theory

Kevin Sussman has been upped as a series regular on “The Big bang Theory.”

According to Deadline, Sussman, who has recurred as Stuart, the owner of the Marvel-lite comic book shop, since season 2 joins Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayar, Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik as a series regular.

“The Big Bang Theory” premieres on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 8/7c on CBS.

Kristina Anapau will guest star in an upcoming episode of the current season of “Grimm.” The “True Blood” actress will play Megan Marston, a quiet, sheepish secretary who works at a Wesen church. [TVLine]

Kelen Coleman (The Newsroom) has been cast as Josh Cooke’s character’s wife in TV Land’s comedy pilot “Brothers-in-Law.” [TVLine]

Jessica De Gouw has landed a multi-episode arc on The CW’s “Arrow.” Gouw is set to play The Huntress, aka Helena, a potential love interest for Oliver Queen. [EW]

William Forsythe and Samaire Armstrong will reprise their roles on “The Mentalist.” Forsythe will return as Rigsby’s father, while Armstrong will reprise her role as Summer Edgecombe, CBI confident informant. [TVLine]

Jillian Bell (Workaholics) has booked a recurring role as Renata, the second cousin of Sophia Bush’s character in CBS new comedy “Partners.” Renata is “a work-in-progress,” and a bit of a personal and professional mess. [TVLine]

Fall Scoop: CBS Reveals Premiere Dates

CBS, America’s most-watched network just unveiled it fall premiere dates.

Starting things off for the network this fall is “Survivor.” The reality series return in Philippines on Wed, Sept., 19 at 8 p.m. ET.  While the remaining series will premiere during the official fall premiere week: Sept. 24 – 30.

CBS 2012-2013 Lineup Revealed: ‘2 Broke Girls,’ Heads To A New Time, & More.

TV most watched network, CBS unveiled it fall/spring lineup.

The changes? “2 Broke Girls,” “Two And A Half Men,” “CSI: NY,” “The Mentalist” all move to a new time. “2 Broke Girls” season two will premiere an hour later on Mondays. The tenth season of “Two And A Half Men” will air on Thursdays. “CSI: NY” and “The Mentalist” were also moved to a new time slot.

CBS picks up four new shows, three dramas “Vegas,” “Elementary,” “Made In Jersey” and a new comedy show “Partners.” These shows will premiere this fall while “Golden Boy,” “Friend Me,” and “The Job” will debut during midseason.
