‘Game of Thrones’ Season 4 Poster, Michelle Obama to Appear on ‘Parks and Recreation’ And More

First Lady Michelle Obama will visit Pawnee. The First Lady will cameo in the hour-long season 6 finale of “Parks and Recreation.”

HBO has picked up “Looking,” gay-themed relationship dramedy for a second season. 

“The Arsenio Hall Show” has been renewed for a second season.

Comedians Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele has been tapped to appear on “Fargo.” The “Key & Peele” actors will play FBI partners Webb Pepper (Peele) and Bill Budge (Key), who, after a violent run-in with hit-man Lorne Malvo (Billy Bob Thornton), become obsessed with finding him again.

MaryJane will be back for another season. BET has renewed its first original scripted drama series “Being Mary Jane” for Season 2.

“Bates Motel: After Hours” will debut on Monday, March 3 at 11 immediately following the series premiere of “Those Who Kill,” and one hour after “Bates Motel” season 2 premiere.

Golden Globes: Amy Poehler and Tina Fey to Host In 2014, 2015

The Golden Globe Awards - Season 2013

We’ve struck gold: BFFs Amy Poehler and Tina Fey will host the Golden Globes Awards in 2014 and 2015,  Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced Tuesday.

“Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to return as hosts of the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards, and the 72nd in 2015. #Television #actors,” The Golden Globes Awards tweeted Tuesday.

The pair hosted the Awards in January, which saw an and a 28 percent jump in the 18-49 demo.

“It’s wonderful news,” HFPA president Theo Kingma said. “They have always been our first choice as hosts and we’re delighted they are back for the next two years.”

The 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards will air live on Sunday, Jan. 12 at 8/7c on NBC.

‘90210’ Alumna Joins ‘The Following’ And More Casting News

“90210” actress is joining the cast of “The Following.”

Jessica Stroup has been cast to play Max, the niece of Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon), according to Entertainment Weekly. Max is described as an NYPD cop, who reconnects with Ryan and becomes a valuable ally.

Also joining the cast is Tiffany Boone. “Southland” alumna will recur as a young woman who finds herself drawn into Joe Carroll’s cult.

“The Following” returns in 2014.

Tatiana Maslany will guest star on “Parks and Recreation.” The “Orphan Black” actress will play Tom’s (Aziz Ansari) love interest in the forthcoming season’s fifth and sixth episode. [TVLine]

‘Bones’ Adds Mather Zickel & Freddie Prinze Jr. And More Casting News

Mather Zickel, “House of Lies” actor has joined “Bones'” forthcoming season. Zickel is joining the ninth season as Aldo Coulter, an ex-priest who has a history with Booth (David Boreanaz).

Aldo Coulter was Booth’s “ex-confessor when he was a sniper in the Rangers,” according to TVLine.

In addition, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” alum Freddie Prinze Jr. has been booked in a (potential) multi-episode arc opposite Booth. TVLine reports.

Prinze will play Danny, an armed and dangerous CIA covert agent, who is an old associate of Booth’s.

“Alphas” actor Warren Christie will appear in the second episode of the coming season of “Castle” as Brad Parker, a reporter who discovers implications for national security.  [EW] Meanwhile, “24” vet  Michael Reed, will guest star as a former general who’s fighting to keep secrets from his past under wraps. Henry Winkler, “Happy Days” vet has been cast on “Parks and Rec.” The actor has been booked for a guest appearance as Jean-Ralphio’s father on season 6 premiere. [The Hollywood Reporter]

“Pretty Little Liars” actress Vanessa Ray is joining “Blue Bloods.” The actress has been cast as Edit “Eddie” Janko, a rookie cop who is Jamie Reagan’s “fresh” new partner. [TVLine]

Merritt Wever will be return to “New Girl” for at least two episodes. “Nurse Jackie” actress will reprise her role as Elizabeth, Schmidt’s college girlfriend and current girlfriend as of the season finale. [EW]

Cote de Pablo Leaving ‘NCIS’ And More Casting News

Cote De Pablo is leaving “NCIS.”

The actress, who plays Ziva David on “NCIS” will not return as a series regular for Season 11.

De Pablo said in a statement, “I’ve had 8 great years with “NCIS” and Ziva David. I have huge respect and affection for Mark, Gary, Michael, David, Rocky, Pauley, Brian, Sean, all of the team and CBS. I look forward to finishing Ziva’s story.”

“We respect Cote’s decision, thank her for being an important part of the NCIS team, and for eight terrific years playing Ziva David,” CBS said in a statement. “Cote and CBS share a great respect for the NCIS audience, and we look forward to working with her and the producers on appropriate closure in this chapter of Ziva’s story.”

Summer Glau will recur as an adversary for Oliver Queen on “Arrow.” Glau will play “the enigmatically beautiful and professionally dangerous Isabel Rochev, Vice President of Aquisitions of Stellmoor International, a company looking to take over Queen Consolidated.” [TVLine]

“House of Lies” star Kristen Bell is heading to “Parks and Recreation.” Bell will guest-star in an upcoming episode as Ingrid, a snooty City Councilwoman from Eagleton. [EW]

‘CSI: NY’ Alum Joins ‘Covert Affairs’ And More Casting News

Hill Harper joins covert affairs

“CSI: NY” star Hill Harper is heading to “Covert Affairs.”

The crime-procedural actor has been cast in the drama series as a series regular, according to The  Hollywood Reporter.

Harper will play an “ambitious, intelligent and slightly cocky,” CIA station chief in Latin America, who will be looking to make the transition from the CIA’s Latin America station back to Washington.

Harper’s character will try to enlist the help of Annie and Auggie to help him accomplish that goal.

According to TVLine, Harper will not continue with “CSI: NY” if the series get renewed for a Season 10.

“Covert Affairs” returns this summer.

Diego Klattenhoff Leaving ‘Homeland’ And More Casting News

Diego Klattenhoff is leaving “Homeland.”

According to TVLine, Klattenhoff, who plays Mike on Showtime’s Golden Globes award-winning drama, will not be a series regular when the series for a third season, in September.

Klattenhoff, may however return as a recurring actor.  The site also reports Morena Baccarin, who plays Brody’s estranged wife is expected to return to the series as a regular part of the cast.

“Homeland” season 3 returns on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 9 p.m.

A Charmed one is joining “Once Upon A Time.”

According to Deadline, Rose McGowan has been booked to star as young Cora on the ABC drama series.

McGowan whose credits include “Law & Order: SVU” and “Nip/Tuck” will appear in an origin episode that will delve into the evil queen’s back-story.

“Once Upon A Time” returns on Sunday, Jan 6. at 8/7c.

“Go On” airs Tuesdays on NBC.
