Len Dunham Heads to ‘SNL’ as Host, ‘Entourage’ Movie Receives Release Date And More!

Lena Dunham will host “Saturday Night Live” on March 8. NBC announced Tuesday, the “Girls” creator and star will mark her “SNL” debut alongside musical guest The National.

Comedy Central has renewed “Broad City” for a second season.

“Entourage” is heading to the theaters. Warner Bros. has set a release date for its “Entourage” movie of June 12, 2015.

HBO renews “Getting On,” which stars Laurie Metcalf, Alex Borstein and Niecy Nash for a second season of six episodes.

Sarah Ramos will reprise her role as Haddie, Adam and Kristina’s eldest daughter later on “Parenthood.”

Aww, we will miss Seth Meyers on “Saturday Night Live,” and so will his friends at “SNL.” ‘SNL’ writers and cast tapped a nice goodbye video for Seth Meyers. Watch below.

Matthew Atkinson Joins ‘Parenthood’ And More Casting News

“Parenthood” adds Matthew Atkinson for Season 5.

TVLine reports, Atkinson (“Jane By Design”) will appear in a multi-episode arc as Zach.

The character is described as “drummer in the band fronted by new arrival Oliver who bonds with Amber while recording at the Luncheonette.”

Atkinson will also play Amber’s love interest.

“Parenthood” season 5 premieres Thursday, Sept. 26 at 10/9c.

Cote de Pablo Leaving ‘NCIS’ And More Casting News

Cote De Pablo is leaving “NCIS.”

The actress, who plays Ziva David on “NCIS” will not return as a series regular for Season 11.

De Pablo said in a statement, “I’ve had 8 great years with “NCIS” and Ziva David. I have huge respect and affection for Mark, Gary, Michael, David, Rocky, Pauley, Brian, Sean, all of the team and CBS. I look forward to finishing Ziva’s story.”

“We respect Cote’s decision, thank her for being an important part of the NCIS team, and for eight terrific years playing Ziva David,” CBS said in a statement. “Cote and CBS share a great respect for the NCIS audience, and we look forward to working with her and the producers on appropriate closure in this chapter of Ziva’s story.”

Ray Romano will reprise his role on “Parenthood.”

According to Deadline, the “Everybody Loves Ray Raymond” alum will return to the series as Hank Rizzoli, Sarah’s (Lauren Graham) boss-turned-boyfriend.

Romano is set to appear in as many as 12-15 episodes, according to the site.

“Parenthood” returns this fall.

Annie Wersching Nabs a Guest Star Role on ‘Touch’ And More Casting News

Jack Bauer and Renee Walker are reuniting on “Touch.”

“Dallas” Casts Annie Wersching in a recurring role.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Annie Wersching has been tapped to guest star as Dr. Kate Gordon. Wersching’s role is described as a smart and caring family therapist, who specializes in early childhood trauma and behavioral issues.

Wersching portrayed Jack Bauer’s lover interest FBI Agent Renee Walker, on Fox’s “24.”

James D’Arcy has been cast in A&E’ pilot “Those Who Kill.” D’Arcy joins Chloe Sevigny, who has been cast as Detective Catherine. The project is about a detective (Sevigny) and forensic profiler (D’Arcy) who both possess a deep understanding of the serial killers they chase. [Deadline]

Elizabeth Pena (“Rush Hour”) has been cast to play Pilar, Gloria’s mother in “Modern Family.” Also joining the comedy series is Stephanie Beatriz as Sofia, Gloria’s sister. Pena and Beatriz are set to appear in this season’s 12th episode. [TVLine]

Glen Hansard will guest star as himself in a forthcoming episode of “Parenthood.” Hansard will play himself on the drama series. [EW]

Wayne Brady and Caroline Rhea will guest-star on the second season of “Baby Daddy.” Comedian Brady will play a talk-show host named Chase Baxter in the second episode of the forthcoming season. Meanwhile, Rhea will portray Riley’s mother. [TV Guide]

Michael J. Fox & T.R. Knight to Appear on ‘Good Wife’ And More Casting News

Michael J. Fox is heading to Lockhart/Gardner again.

According to TVLine, the actor will reprise his role as Louis Canning — the head of Lockhart/Gardner’s rival law firm — on “The Good Wife.” Fox is set to appear on the series’ eleventh episode, which is set to air in January 2013.

Also heading to the law firm is “Grey’s Anatomy’s” T.R. Knight.

Knight, who played Dr. George O’Malley on ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” has been cast to guest-star as a political operative on the drama series, EW reports.

Nestor Carbonell And Mike Vogel Join ‘Bates Motel And More Casting News

Nestor Carbonell and Mike Vogel have joined A&E’s upcoming series “Bates Motel.”

“Lost” alum Carbonell, who played a FBI agent on The CW’s short-lived “Ringer” has joined “Bates Motel” in a recurring role. Carbonell will play Sheriff Royce Romero.

Meanwhile,”Pan Am’s” handsome pilot Vogel will play Deputy Zach Shelby, an intelligent sociopath.

The duo join the growing cast of Vera Farmiga, Freddie Highmore, Max Thieriot, Nicola Peltz and Olivia Cooke.

Ellen Greene (“Pushing Daisies”) is set to recur as Mrs. Komeda, a novelist and member of Boston’s cultural elite in NBC’s “Hannibal.” [TVLine]

Pamela Adlon (“Californicatiom”) has joined “Parenthood” in a two-episode arc. Adlon has been tapped to play Marlana, a rude woman who moves into the building next to the Braverman brothers’ music studio. [TVLine]

Eric Edelstein and Maile Flanagan have been cast on Showtime’s “Shameless.” Edelstein has been tapped to play Bobby Mallison, a seemingly polite manager of a grocery store who makes absurd demands of his female employees. While, Flanagan will play Connie, a Mid-Western co-worker at a company where Fiona works. [Deadline]

It has been official: Sean Lowe is the new bachelor.

ABC announced earlier last week, that Sean who competed for Emily Maynard’s heart on “The Bacherotte” has been cast as “The Bachelor.”

The 28-year-old Dallas “businessman and entrepreneur” who made it to the final three in the last season of “The Bachelorette” has decided it is the right time for him to make the “ultimate commitment to the right woman and to start his own family.”

“The Bachelor” returns to ABC for its 17th season in January 2013.
