‘OUAT’ Enlists A Charmed One And More Casting News

Rose McGowan Joins OUAT

A Charmed one is joining “Once Upon A Time.”

According to Deadline, Rose McGowan has been booked to star as young Cora on the ABC drama series.

McGowan whose credits include “Law & Order: SVU” and “Nip/Tuck” will appear in an origin episode that will delve into the evil queen’s back-story.

“Once Upon A Time” returns on Sunday, Jan 6. at 8/7c.

Jason Schwartzman to guest star on “Parks and Recreation.” The “Bored to Death” alum will play Dennis Lerpiss, the owner of Pawnee’s only independent-movie video store. Dennis enlists Leslie to get Pawnee VideoDome designated as a historical landmark. [The Huffington Post]

Toni Trucks (“Made In Jersey”) will recur on the upcoming NBC drama series “Do No Harm” as Dr. Patricia Rivers. [TVLine]

“Treme” alum is heading to Michael J. Fox’s comedy. Wendell Pierce has been cast to play Fox’s character’s friend and former boss at a local TV station. [THR]

“Bones” adds a squint. “Frasier” alum Brian Klugman is joining the Jeffersonian as the newest intern, Oliver Wells, who has four degrees and isn’t at all intimidated by Brennan. [TVLine]

‘Made In Jersey’ Not Cancelled, Moves To Saturday

Made in Jersey is alive

It appears the freshman drama “Made In Jersey” has been resurrected.

Deadline reports, CBS will air two new episodes of “Made in Jersey” on Saturday, Nov. 24 and Dec. 1 at 8/7c p.m.

Janet Montgomery stars as Martina Garretti, a new New Jersey girl lawyer who gets a job in a new law firm in New York.

“Made In Jersey” premiered to 7.8 million viewers and a 1.1 rating. The series was cancelled after two episodes.

CBS Cancels ‘Made In Jersey’

Did you see this coming? The first series cancelled this season is “Made In Jersey.”

CBS has pulled the freshman series from its lineup just after two episodes. The network will replace the series with “Undercover Boss” starting in November.

“Made In Jersey” premiered to 7.8 million viewers and a 1.1 rating. The second episode had 6.8 million viewers and with a 0.8 rating.

The fourth season of “Undercover Boss” will premiere on Friday, November 2 at 8 p.m. ET and “CSI: NY” will move to 9 p.m. ET now that “Made In Jersey” has been cancelled.

‘Scandal’ Hires ‘Grey’s’ & ‘Lost’ Alums And More Casting News

According to Huff Post TV, Steven Bailey, who played Joe the bartender on “Grey’Anatomy” has been booked to guest-star on Shonda Rhimes’ hit series “Scandal.” Although there is no word who Bailey will be playing.

Meanwhile, Broadway alum Norm Lewis (Porgy and Bess) is set to recur as Olivia Pope’s (Kerry Washington) ex.  Additionally, Patrick Fischler (Lost, Mad Men), Lorraine Toussaint, Gregg Henry and Ann Cusack will appear in the upcoming season of “Scandal.”

Scandal‘s second season premieres Thursday, Sept. 27 at 10/9c on ABC.

In other casting news…

Enver Gjokaj, “Dollhouse” alum will join CBS’ new legal drama “Made In Jersey” as a U.S. attorney and the ex-boyfriend of Janet Montgomery’s main character. [THR]

“Lost” alum Jeff Fahey has been tapped to guest-star in “Revolution.” Fahey is set to play Hutch, TVLine reports.

Malcolm McDowell has booked a multi-episode arc in “Community”‘s upcoming Season 4. McDowell will play Professor Cornwallis, the college’s new history prof. [THR]

JR Bourne (Teen Wolf) has booked a recurring role on the upcoming second season of “Revenge.” He will play Kenny, a self-assured, Hamptons resident who tries to hide his rough edges behind his fancy clothes and Mercedes. [Deadline]

Samm Levine has joined the cast of NBC’s midseason medical drama “Do No Harm.” Levine will play Josh, an administrative assistant to Dr. Jason Cole (Steven Pasquale). [THR]

Majandra Delfino and Blake Garrett have joined “The Office” spin-off series. Delfino is set to play Fannie Schrute, Dwight’s “pseudo-intellectual lefty” younger sister. While Blake Garrett (New Girl) will play Dwight’s nephew, Cameron.

Ben Lawson has been cast as Jonathan, Chloe’s love interest on  “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23.” [THR]

Ciarán Hinds (Political Animals) will play the Wildling leader Mance Rayder on “Game of Thrones.” According to EW, the King Beyond the Wall’s only mission is to attack The Wall. [EW]

Chris Klein is will guest-star on “Raising Hope.” The actor will appear as Jimmy’s long-lost brother. [THR]

Michael Mosley (Pan Am) has been booked in a recurring role on ABC’s freshman series “Last Resort.” The “Pan Am” vet will recur as  Chief Engineer Anders. [TV Guide]

Whoopi Goldberg has been tapped to reprise her role as New York Academy of Dramatic Arts dean Carmen Tibideaux in “Glee”‘s fourth season. In addition, “Glee Project” Season 1 winners, Samuel Larsen and Alex Newell, along with Season 2 winner Blake Jenner, will recur in “Glee”‘s fourth season. [THR]

‘Revenge’ Casts Jennifer Jason Leigh as Emily’s Mother and More Casting News

Jennifer Jason Leigh has landed the role of Emily’s not-so dead mother.

The actress currently recurring on ‘Weeds’ will recur on the ABC’s hit series. Leigh’s character has some deep psychological issues and damage. Emily’s mother is also dangerous.

Revenge returns Sundays 9/8c on ABC.

Comic actor Patton Oswalt to guest star in Episodes 14 and 15 of “White Collar” as a notorious and quirky smuggler who comes at a price. While Sonja Sohn (Body of Proof) will recur as a high-level CIA director, starting with episode 13. [EW]

Grace Phipps (Nine Lives of Chloe King) has landed a recurring role in CW’s Vampire series. The actress will play April, a 16-year old, who has a history with Jeremy and Elena. Phipps will make her first appearance in the second episode of the forthcoming season, EW.com reports.

Another doctor is joining Seattle Grace. “True Blood”‘s recurring actor Camilla Luddington will play a doctor in a recurring role on “Grey’s Anatomy.” The role has an option of becoming a series regular, Deadline reports.

TVLine reports Megalyn Echikunwoke will play Riley, the daughter of and ambassador in CBS’ freshman series, “Made in Jersey.”

U.S. senators John McCain, (Arizona) Barbara Boxer, (California) and Olympia Snowe (Maine) will appear for a cameo in an episode of the upcoming season of “Parks and Recreation,” which premieres Thurs., Sept. 20 on NBC.

Fall Scoop: CBS Reveals Premiere Dates

CBS, America’s most-watched network just unveiled it fall premiere dates.

Starting things off for the network this fall is “Survivor.” The reality series return in Philippines on Wed, Sept., 19 at 8 p.m. ET.  While the remaining series will premiere during the official fall premiere week: Sept. 24 – 30.

Casting Scoop: Jamie Chung to Recur in ‘OUAT’ and More

Jamie Chung has a recurring role on ABC’s series, “Once Upon A Time.” The actress (The Hangover II) has been cast as Hua Mulan, according to EW.

In addition, TVLine reports, Sarah Bolger will play Sleeping Beauty, Princess Aurora on ABC’s “Once Upon a Time.” The series returns Sundays this fall at 8/7c.

Kristoffer Polaha has joined CBS’s upcoming drama, “Made In Jersey” as a series regular, reports TVLine. Polaha will portray Nolan, a handsome Manhattan elite, who is a third-year associate at the firm. Polaha television credits include the CW cancelled “Ringer” and “Life Unexpected.”

Christine Lahti has been cast as a recur on “Hawaii Five-0.” Lahti will recur as Steve McGarrett’s thought-to-be-dead mother, Doris McGarrett.

“The mysterious character of Doris McGarrett is a pivotal one to the mythology of our show,” showrunner Peter Lenkov says of the casting, “and we are thrilled to have a seasoned and beloved actress such as Christine to portray her. She’s a wonderful addition to the H50 family and the fans will certainly enjoy what we have in store for her. Let’s just say that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”

Lahti’s TV credits include “Chicago Hope,” “Jack & Bobby,” and “Law and Order: SVU.”

CBS 2012-2013 Lineup Revealed: ‘2 Broke Girls,’ Heads To A New Time, & More.

TV most watched network, CBS unveiled it fall/spring lineup.

The changes? “2 Broke Girls,” “Two And A Half Men,” “CSI: NY,” “The Mentalist” all move to a new time. “2 Broke Girls” season two will premiere an hour later on Mondays. The tenth season of “Two And A Half Men” will air on Thursdays. “CSI: NY” and “The Mentalist” were also moved to a new time slot.

CBS picks up four new shows, three dramas “Vegas,” “Elementary,” “Made In Jersey” and a new comedy show “Partners.” These shows will premiere this fall while “Golden Boy,” “Friend Me,” and “The Job” will debut during midseason.
