Tonight winners include first time winners such as freshman series “Mr Robot,” who wins Best Supporting Actor in a drama series and Best Drama series.

Taraji P. Henson, “Empire” wins Best Actress in a Drama Series, while Jon Hamm won Best Actor in a Drama Series for the final season of “Mad Men.”

Golden Globes: 72nd Annual Date Announced

71st Annual Golden Globe Awards - Show

Tina and Amy will be back next January.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will host the 72nd annual Golden Globes on Jan. 11, 2015.

“We are delighted to have Tina and Amy back. They create an environment where anything can happen in a room full of the world’s biggest stars,” Allen Shapiro, executive producer of the awards, said in a statement.

The 2015 awards will be broadcasted live from the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, and air on NBC.

“30 Rock” alumna Tina Fey and “Parks and Recreation” actress Amy Poehler hosted the 71st Golden Globes Sunday, January 12.

The hostess Amy Poehler, who received a well-deserved win for the Best Actress in a comedy series was among the night winners.

AMC’s “Breaking Bad” won Best Drama Series and Bryan Cranston won Best Actor in a Drama Series for playing Walter White on “Breaking Bad.”

Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Freshman comedy series, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” also won big tonight for Best Actor in a Comedy Series and Best Comedy Series.

Hbo’s miniseries “Behind the Candelabra” also won a couple globes.

We’ve struck gold: BFFs Amy Poehler and Tina Fey will host the Golden Globes Awards in 2014 and 2015,  Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced Tuesday.

“Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to return as hosts of the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards, and the 72nd in 2015. #Television #actors,” The Golden Globes Awards tweeted Tuesday.

The pair hosted the Awards in January, which saw an and a 28 percent jump in the 18-49 demo.

“It’s wonderful news,” HFPA president Theo Kingma said. “They have always been our first choice as hosts and we’re delighted they are back for the next two years.”

The 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards will air live on Sunday, Jan. 12 at 8/7c on NBC.

‘Da Vinci’s Demons’ Renewed, ‘RHOA’ Spin-off Announced And More!

Starz new series, “Da Vinci’s Demons” has been renewed for a second season.

“Breaking Bad‘s” final episodes is expected to premiere Sunday, Aug. 11. In addition, AMC also announced the crime-drama is adding a post-episode chat show, “Talking Bad.”

The Golden Globes 70th awards ceremony was held in Los Angeles at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, with co-hosts/best friends Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

The big Golden Globe winners were Showtime’s “Homeland” and HBO’s “Game Change,” each won three globes a piece.

Thriller drama “Homeland” won the Best Actress and Actor in a Drama Series, and Best Drama Series.

Meanwhile, HBO comedy series “Girls” won the Best Comedy Series and Lena Dunham scored the globe in Best Actress in a Comedy Series category beating co-hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

“30 Rock’s” Tina Fey and “Parks & Recreation’s” Amy Poehler will be hosting the 70th annual Golden Globes Awards on Jan. 13, 2013 in Beverly Hills.

The 2013 hosts were both nominated in the Best Actress In A Comedy Series category Thursday morning. A hilarious promo featuring Fey and Poehler was released by NBC. Watch it below.

Golden Globes 2013 Nominations: ‘Game Change,’ And ‘Homeland’ Lead the TV Noms

The 70th annual Golden Globes Awards were announced on Thursday morning.

In the television categories, Showtime’s hit drama series “Homeland” leads the noms with four nominations in Best Drama Series, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series, Movie or Miniseries. ElsewhereHBO’s TV movie Game Change scored five total nominations.

A few surprises: “Game of Thrones” didn’t receive any nominations. “The Walking Dead,” “Scandal” or “The Good Wife” receive zero nods for Best drama series. In addition, “30 Rock,” “Louie” and “Parks & Recreation” were not acknowledged for the Best Comedy Series category. Kerry Washington?! Hello!!! And Aaron Paul (“Breaking Bad”) received no love for Best Supporting Actor.

The Globes airs Jan. 13, 2013 in Beverly Hills, broadcast on NBC and hosted by Tina Fey (“30 Rock”) and Amy Poehler (“Parks and Recreation”).

Funny ladies: Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will host the Golden Globes ceremony on Jan. 13, 2013.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, NBC and Dick Clark Productions announced the hosting news today.

Tina Fey (“30 Rock”) and Amy Poehler (“Parks and Recreation”) are stars of NBC’s Thursday comedy block, who worked on “SNL” and co-starred in movies “Mean Girls” and the 2008 “Baby Mama.”

“Having both Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on board to host this year’s festivities is a major coup,” said Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Late Night Programming, NBC Entertainment. “Tina and Amy have a proven chemistry and comedic timing from their many years together on “SNL” to their successful co-starring roles in ‘Baby Mama.’”
