‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine,’ ‘Breaking Bad’ & ‘Behind the Candelabra’ Win Big at the Golden Globes

“30 Rock” alumna Tina Fey and “Parks and Recreation” actress Amy Poehler hosted the 71st Golden Globes Sunday, January 12.

The hostess Amy Poehler, who received a well-deserved win for the Best Actress in a comedy series was among the night winners.

AMC’s “Breaking Bad” won Best Drama Series and Bryan Cranston won Best Actor in a Drama Series for playing Walter White on “Breaking Bad.”

Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Freshman comedy series, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” also won big tonight for Best Actor in a Comedy Series and Best Comedy Series.

Hbo’s miniseries “Behind the Candelabra” also won a couple globes.

SAG Awards 2014: ‘Breaking Bad’ Leads the Screen Actors Guild Nominations

Breaking Bad

The nominees for 20th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced on Wednesday.

AMC’s “Breaking Bad” leads with four nominations — Best Drama Ensemble; Anna Gunn, Best Drama Actress; Bryan Cranston, Best Drama Actor and  Stunt Team.

Netflix original series “House of Cards” scores a nomination for Kevin Spacey.

“Modern Family,” “The Big Bang Theory” and “30 Rock” lead the comedy noms with 3 nominations a piece.

A few snubs “The Good Wife,” “Orphan Black,” “Parks and Recreation,” “Orange is the New Black” and “Mad Men.”

The SAG Awards will be broadcast Saturday, Jan. 18 on TNT/TBS.

‘90210’ Alumna Joins ‘The Following’ And More Casting News

“90210” actress is joining the cast of “The Following.”

Jessica Stroup has been cast to play Max, the niece of Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon), according to Entertainment Weekly. Max is described as an NYPD cop, who reconnects with Ryan and becomes a valuable ally.

Also joining the cast is Tiffany Boone. “Southland” alumna will recur as a young woman who finds herself drawn into Joe Carroll’s cult.

“The Following” returns in 2014.

Tatiana Maslany will guest star on “Parks and Recreation.” The “Orphan Black” actress will play Tom’s (Aziz Ansari) love interest in the forthcoming season’s fifth and sixth episode. [TVLine]
