‘American Horror Story’ Alumni Joins ‘Hannibal’

Zachary Qunito joins HannibalZachary Quinto joins Hannibal’s upcoming season.

The “American Horror Story” veteran and “The Slap” star will appear in an episode of the upcoming season of “Hannibal, according to TV Line.

Quinto is expected to play a patient of Gillian Anderson’s , Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier.

“Hannibal” season 3 debuts on Thursday, June 4 at 10/9c.

Jason Biggs Not Returning to ‘Orange Is the New black’ Season 3

Jason Biggs is not returning for the upcoming season of Orange is The New Black.

Netflix confirmed to Variety

Friday, Biggs, who has played series regular Larry Bloom, Piper’s (Taylor Schilling) ex-fiancée will not return for the forthcoming season.

“Orange Is The New Black” third season is set to premiere on Netflix this June.

 

Lena Dunham Heads to ‘Scandal’

“The Arsenio Hall Show” has been renewed for a second season.

Comedians Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele has been tapped to appear on “Fargo.” The “Key & Peele” actors will play FBI partners Webb Pepper (Peele) and Bill Budge (Key), who, after a violent run-in with hit-man Lorne Malvo (Billy Bob Thornton), become obsessed with finding him again.

MaryJane will be back for another season. BET has renewed its first original scripted drama series “Being Mary Jane” for Season 2.

“Bates Motel: After Hours” will debut on Monday, March 3 at 11 immediately following the series premiere of “Those Who Kill,” and one hour after “Bates Motel” season 2 premiere.

“Entourage” is heading to the theaters. Warner Bros. has set a release date for its “Entourage” movie of June 12, 2015.

HBO renews “Getting On,” which stars Laurie Metcalf, Alex Borstein and Niecy Nash for a second season of six episodes.

CeeLo Green Not Returning to ‘The Voice’

Cee-Lo Green exists “The Voice.”

“The Voice” coach announced Wednesday, he will not return to the reality-competition singing show.

“I’m going to continue my relationship with NBC. I have a television show development deal with them as well and hopefully some other talk show opportunities for later in the year,” revealed on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” “But yeah, I’m going to miss “The Voice,” too. I’m not coming back, guys.”

Green added: “I’m not coming back at all, I just don’t want to wear out my welcome there, you know what I’m saying? I have so many other things that I want to do. I haven’t released an album in four years. I’m almost done with my album.”

Lifetime announced drama series “Drop Dead Diva” has been cancelled.

Bazinga! Jim Parson will host “Saturday Night Live” on Saturday, March 1, when the sketch series returns from hiatus. This will be “The Big Bang Theory” star debut on “SNL.”

Patrick Fabian is joining “Grey’s Anatomy.” The actor will recur as a pediatric surgeon who arrives to help Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. TVGuide

Hugh Jackman has been tapped to host Tony Awards for the fourth time, live on Sunday, June 8.

‘Game of Thrones’ Promotes Nathalie Emmanuel to Series Regular

“Game of Thrones” promotes Nathalie Emmanuel.

The series has cast Nathalie Emmanuel, who plays Daenerys Targaryen’s honest translator Missandei, will be promoted to a series regular ahead of the show’s fifth season; although the series hasn’t been officially picked for season 5. 

Missandei’s character is described as “a former slave with a gift for languages who becomes Daenerys’ confidant and trusted adviser.” 

“Game of Thrones” season 4 premieres on Sunday, April 6, at 9/8c on HBO.

NBC halts production on “Sean Saves the World.” The peacock network has decided to cancel the freshman comedy series.

The 66th Primetime Emmys is scheduled to air on Monday, Aug. 25, 2014 live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on NBC

Oxygen renews “Preachers of L.A.” for a second season.

John Boyega has been tapped to recur in “24: Live Another Day.” Boyega will play a computer tech who flies drones for the military. In addition, Stephen Fry was recently cast to play the British Prime Minister on “24: Live Another Day.”

NBC has ordered two additional episodes of ‘Chicago P.D.”

Michael Pitt has been tapped to recur as Mason Verger on “Hannibal.” The “Boardwalk Empire” alumni will portray an unstable wealthy patient of Dr. Hannibal Lecter who begins a dangerous cat-and-mouse game with the deadly serial killer.
