‘Survivor’ Renewed For Two More Seasons

CBS orders two more seasons of “Survivor.”

The reality series hosted by Jeff Probst has been renewed for 29th and 30th seasons, CBS announced Thursday. Season 28, which was shot last summer in the Philippines and will premiere in spring 2014.

Nina Tassler, President, CBS Entertainment, said in a statement: “”Survivor” continues to set the bar for outstanding production values, compelling storytelling while delivering fresh new adventures every season. The show’s enduring success is a testament to the creativity and passion of Mark Burnett and Jeff Probst, and an amazing production team. We’re proud to continue this incredible journey together.”

The reality series finale airs Sunday.
