Stephen Collins Heads to Revolution

“7th Heaven” alum joins the “Revolution.”

According to TVLine, Stephen Collins has been cast to play Rachel’s father on “Revolution.”

“[He] brings an entirely new perspective on her, her upbringing,” executive producer Rockne S. O’Bannon told TVGuide during Comic-con. “He’s a very important part of the world we got to inhabit in the first part of the season.”

Meanwhile, Nicole Ari Parker has been booked in a recurring role as a “bright” Secretary Justine Allenford, according to Deadline.

“Revolution” returns Wed.,  Sept. 25 at 8/7c.

Naveen Andrews has been cast in a recurring role. “Lost” alum will play Jafar, the villain in Disney’s 1992 film Aladdin in “Once Upon A Time In Wonderland.”

“Alias” alum Michael Vartan will play Norma’s romantic interest for “Bates Motel” forthcoming season in a recurring role.  [TVLine]

Sean Maguire has been cast to replace Tom Ellis as Robin Hood on “Once Upon A Time.”  [EW]
