British drama “Downton Abbey” has been renewed for a fourth season, ITV announced Friday.
The Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning drama season four production will begin shooting in February and will debut in UK in the fall.
Executive producer Gareth Neame said in a statement, “Viewers can look forward to more drama, comedy, love, hatred, jealousy, rivalry, ambition, despair and romance” among the Crawleys and their servants.
ITV executive Laura Mackie added, “We’re thrilled to welcome back a drama series that has become a much anticipated part of all our lives every autumn and achieved success around the globe.”
Season 3 of “Downton Abbey” debuts Jan. 6 on PBS.
