The end is here for Mayor Kane.
Starz has pulled the plug on Kelsey Grammer’s “Boss.” The network has decided to cancel the critically acclaimed series after two seasons.
Kelsey Grammer won a Golden Globe for his portrayal of a merciless Chicago Mayor who was impaired by a neurological disease.
“After much deliberation, we have made the difficult decision to not proceed with Boss,” the network said in a statement. “We remain proud of this award-winning show, its exceptional cast and writers, and are grateful to Kelsey Grammer, Farhad Safinia and our partners at Lionsgate TV.”
However, the show might get a better ending. Deadline reports, Starz and “Boss” producer Lionsgate TV are reportedly in negotiations to conclude the series with a two-hour movie.
