Jonathan Banks Heads to ‘Parks & Rec’ And More Casting News

“Breaking Bad” vet Jonathan Banks has landed a guest role on “Parks & Rec.”

Hitfix reports, Banks, who played Mike Ehrmantraut on “Breaking Bad” is joining the NBC comedy as Ben Wyatt’s (Adam Scott) dad Steve.

Also heading to “Parks & Rec” is Glenne Headly. Glenne Headly will be playing Banks’ his ex-wife and Ben’s mom, Julia, according to TV Guide. Julia is “a warm and charming woman who appreciates art and literature, but who also has a bit of a dark side when provoked.

Headly and Banks are set to appear in the sixth episode of the upcoming season.

“Parks & Rec” premieres on Thurs., Sept. 20 at 9:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

“The Good Wife” and “Political Animals” star Dylan Baker is joining “Zero Hour.” The actor will play FBI Section Chief Terrence Fisk, the supervisor of Carmen Ejogo’s character, Becca Sunjata. [TV Guide]
